RELAXATION CIRCLES
The science behind the circles
Over our lifetimes, we absorb messages about birth, and let's face it, they are mostly negative. Through watching TV shows and hearing other people's stories, most of us have the idea that birth is a scary event where we have no control of what is happening.

Our brains have stored all that information, but we can retrain it! Listening to positive affirmations and confidence affirming messages around birth can tell our brains that birth has the ability to be beautiful. Being in a relaxed/mediative state allows those messages to be easily received by the subconscious brain, cool huh?!
​
I share a science based breathing technique to anchor you throughout the relaxation, which can be used throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond too. A hypnobirthing staple.


RELAXATION CIRCLES
The love behind the circles
I have personally designed the circles to create something I wish I had when I was pregnant. Pregnancy can feel lonely at times, and even though there may be people in your life that have been pregnant before, it's not the same as being surrounded by others on the same journey as you who can totally get it.

The circles have two elements to them, knowledge and relaxation. I want you to go away after every session feeling more informed, confident and rested.
Each session has a different pregnancy or birth related theme, where I will share birth knowledge to give you power.
Using that knowledge, we then enter the relaxation, where I will guide you into a beautifully relaxed state. This is where you will take the time to fully let go of the day, and to take this time to be present in your body and with your baby.
SESSION
Here's what to expect in a session

Settle in
Join me and choose a space that's set up for you, with a yoga mat and cushions​
I will welcome you with a selection of herbal teas that I have specially chosen to help you relax. ​
Whilst we enjoy our drinks, we will use this time to have a chat where you're welcome to share as much or as little about your pregnancy journey as you wish.

Wisdom
We will explore a different theme each week, where I will share some birth wisdom that can help you on your own journey.​
We will have the chance to chat about it and get ready to head into the relaxation

Relaxation
This is the time to get comfy and completely let go of worries and thinking.​
Don't worry if you have never meditated before, I will guide you on how to practise quieting the busy mind.​
I share a mix of affirmations and visualisations which help you practise listening to your inner intuition, as well as how to be in the complete present moment.

Calm
The combination of soothing tea, lighting, essential oil diffuser and guided meditation will leave you feeling tranquil and more self assured.​
Go into the rest of your evening with calmness and a new closeness with baby.
​With these tools I share, you can continue practising at home to continue strengthening your bond with your body, baby and mind.
